Waitlist

Onelo Waitlist lets you collect signups before you launch and then open the doors on your terms. You get a hosted, brandable signup form you can embed anywhere, personal email invites, phased rollouts (“invite the top 50”), GDPR-ready consent, and a waitlist mode that gates your store until you flip a single switch. You configure everything in the dashboard; your site needs only one line of embed code.

How a launch flows

1

Collect signups

Embed the waitlist form on your landing page. Visitors enter their email (and optionally a name) and get a queue position. Every signup lands in your dashboard.
2

Invite when you are ready

Invite people one at a time, or in batches — invite the top 50, check the app holds up, then invite more. Each invite sends an email with a personal invite link that stops working once the invite converts to Joined.
3

They join

An invited user clicks the link, creates an account (or buys a plan if your paywall is on), and is marked Joined. With waitlist mode on, the invite token is what unlocks your store.
4

Go public

When the waitlist is over, turn waitlist mode off. Your store becomes visible to everyone — no change to your website code.

Set it up, step by step

Run the launch

Link your waitlist to an app. A standalone waitlist works, but the brandable form, multiple languages, and the consent / legal links all come from the app's Waitlist and Branding tabs. If you do not have an app yet, create one under Applications first, then pick it in the New waitlist wizard.

Plans & limits

Your waitlist can hold a total of Free 500, Pro 5,000, Business 20,000 active entries across your account (not a monthly meter — removing someone or an unsubscribe frees a slot). Optional marketing consent and the GDPR privacy notice are available on every plan; removing the “Powered by Onelo” footer is Pro and above.
